Naked Daze with Dave

Why the name “Naked Daze?” When I surrendered I became exposed and all the evil was stripped away… Then for the first time in my life, I was free to explore… Anyway it’s a new blog! Which hopefully gives a better experience for everyone. There are some posts on the old blog which I want to save so bear with me as I cross everything over… Thanks

Through strong sponsorship, lots of meetings, practicing the spiritual principles as outlined in the book Alcoholics Anonymous and oodles and oodles of grace, I haven’t had a drink since May 2, 2006.

Hi! I’m Amanda! I’ve got three girls (you might know me as mom23greatgirls) that I love with all my heart. I also have a husband and I love him too – sometimes with the rest of my heart. Ready for an adventure in sobriety? Follow along as I make my way through the world, sober while trying to work outside of my home, parent, and be a wife. It’ll be fun, I promise!

12 Steps 1 God

I’m simply a person like you. I don’t have any special experience or qualifications in alcohol abuse. I’m not a counselor, therapist, or psychologist. In the tradition of AA, I desire to remain anonymous. It doesn’t matter who I am. What matters is how our stories have a “common thread” that connects us. Together, we can help each other recover from alcoholism.

Recovering Anorexic

Welcome to my recovery blog. I’m a recovering anorexic, and I’ve created this blog as a way to help me through the recovery process. I’ll also be documenting my journey with OA (Overeaters Anonymous). This blog is a personal growth and discovery tool I’ll use to stay on track in recovery. Recovery is a life-long process, not a one time shot. Click around some of my pages (below) to get a better understanding of what I’ll be writing about. Thanks!

Celtic Crossing

Jim Brick, NJ, United States
I have been many persons. I’ve journeyed many lives and life times. The one consistent thread that has woven its way through my life is my belief and faith in God. I’m not as complicated as others would believe. However, I am layered. I have tried different styles of life and developed who I am by trying. I live life by not having my fears hold me back. If I were afraid of high places, I would stand on the highest mountain and look over towards the bottom. If I were afraid of the dark, I would sit in the darkest place I could find and listen for sound, never striking a match. My biggest fear is looking back. I am facing that fear now by writing my blog. What I am going to write about will be upsetting, dark, sad, unbelievable, loving, happy, funny, remarkable, and most of all, honest. I have always believed that God was there watching me; when I have turned away from God’s love, He never turned away from me. I have God, the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Ghost to thank for my survival.
